Not all of us are in the habit of having light dinner. Good digestion helps the body to relax. It is advised to have a walk after dinner. Keep a time gap of 20-30 minutes between dinner and walk. Walk at a very moderate pace at your comfort level and try to have good and happy thoughts in mind. A walk for 30 minutes will not only improve digestion but also make you tired enough to immediately fall asleep as you fall in bed.
